Got that new moon energy

Hello honeybees,

This week has been a philosophical one. I blame the new moon — I’ve heard that new moons are for creation of new things, but no big surprise, I buck that trend. (What a funny phrase. Can a trend even be a trend if it’s not being bucked?) I’ve noticed that as the moon starts again, I’m more pensive, dare I say, a little heavier, as take stock in where I am, what I’m doing.

I’m happy to say that all this new mooning led me to this: I’m content. What a relief. (I told you that I could make even good news sound slightly depressing at this time!) You know what’s been so fun for me — I’m creating my shows for June, practicing jazz, and writing at least 3 new songs at the same time. (See! I’m still me! I’m still multitasking while burning all the candles!)

What if we don’t have to do more or be more, just be here?

I also spent a lovely weekend in Vegas and on the scenic drive in Red Rock, which was, so strangely, green!

Contentment, a green desert, what is this world coming to? Oh this world is a special one, poppets.

What’s new in XIMXIA land?

I’ve been posting video from the March 8 Hotel Cafe Show on YouTube! Let me know what you think!

Can’t wait to see you this summer!!

always,
XIMXIA
